The NYP series internal gear pump with magnetic coupling is a new type of positive displacement pump designed to meet the diverse needs of industries such as petroleum, chemical, paint, medicine, and food. It is ideal for transferring various types of media, including those with different properties and viscosities, thanks to its special structure and the use of appropriate materials.

Overview

The pump operates based on the principle of internal engagement. The driving gear (external rotor) rotates the internal rotor in the same direction within the fully enclosed pump body. As the gears rotate, a negative pressure is created at the suction port, allowing the liquid to be drawn in and transported to the discharge port. The liquid is then expelled through the outlet as the gears mesh, completing the transportation process.

Structure Features

The pump consists of an internal rotor, external rotor, shaft, pump casing, front cover, seal, bearings, and more. Seals can be either packing or mechanical, depending on the medium being transferred. For high-temperature, high-viscosity, or corrosive liquids, packing seals are recommended. To prevent crystallization, heat preservation jackets can be added to the pump casing and front cover. Safety valves can also be installed for added protection.

The pump set includes the pump, motor, and baseplate. The drive system can be belt-driven or coupled, offering flexibility in operation.
