The ASPTM series shredding and pelletizing system is a fully integrated solution that combines shredding, crushing, feeding, plasticization, and pelletizing into one efficient process. Designed for the recycling of various types of plastics, including foaming materials, this system offers a cost-effective and reliable way to process plastic waste from different sources.
Shredding / Enforcing Feeding
This system works in collaboration with European shredder suppliers, using specialized shredding rotors designed to work with single-screw extruders. It effectively reduces, crushes, and feeds various types of plastic scraps, such as films, bottles, raffia, woven bags, fabrics, purges, and lumps. This makes it ideal for processing all kinds of plastic waste in any condition.
Melt Filtration
A standard single plate/piston double station screen changer or a non-stop double plate/piston four-station screen changer can be installed on the extruder head to ensure effective filtration. The choice of filtration technology depends on the quality of the incoming material and the intended use of the final pellets.
Plasticization and Degassing
A specialized single-screw extruder gently melts the crushed plastic scraps. The material is melted and processed over a 32D section. With a dual-zone vacuum degassing system, moisture and low-molecular compounds are efficiently removed, making it particularly suitable for re-pelletizing heavily printed or moisture-sensitive plastics.
Pelletizing
The die-face water ring pelletizing system is the standard granulating method in the ASPTM system. The self-adjusting pelletizing head ensures optimal granulate quality and long service life by maintaining consistent blade pressure. The RPM of the rotating blades is automatically adjusted based on the melt extrusion pressure.
