The FAW Xichai F series National IV natural gas engine CA6SF2-17\19\21\23E4N1 passed the review on the basis of the original four-stage natural gas engine CA6SF2-17, 19, 21, and 23NE3 of the original Xicai III natural gas engine. Developed, the power was 170, 190, 210, and 230 horsepower, respectively. Four power stage natural gas engines with stable performance, excellent dynamic performance, minimum gas consumption of 193g/kW.h, CAN communication, cruise, engine braking, gas consumption display and other functions; software upgrade from DOS man-machine interface to WINDOS man-machine interface , The electronic control function has reached the domestic leading level. In particular, after the engine performance test, vehicle calibration test, and bus vehicle road test, it was proved that the electronically controlled gas system met the development requirements and zero emissions of soot were achieved.

The project team also successfully completed the performance development of the National IV natural gas engine CA6SN1-42E4N2. This natural gas engine jointly designed and developed with the FAW Technology Center is currently the largest natural gas engine in China. Its SCR technology route and BOSCH's new generation of electronically controlled common rail system not only fill the industry gap of high-power natural gas engines of more than 400 horsepower in China, but also indicates that Xichai has gradually integrated international standards in the development of high-power natural gas engines. The successful development of the aircraft performance enabled Xichai natural gas engine to achieve a full range of coverage in the 170-420 power segment.

Another CA4DL1E4 engine of the State IV that passed the review was used as an emission upgrade product for the CA4DL1E3 diesel engine. This model uses a third-generation common-rail fuel injection system + Bosch DeNOx2.2+SCR postprocessor and adopts injection injection. The flow rate, orifice parameters, spray wrap angle, nozzle extension, and turbocharger selection and optimization meet the national IV emission standards. Its economical and dynamic diesel engine developed or introduced in China is at an advantage. It is an ideal supporting power for medium-sized commercial vehicles of 5-7 tons and medium-sized passenger cars, buses and chassis of 7-9 meters.

At the same time, the new IV products that passed the review were CA4DF4 models. This is a high-pressure common rail + SCR post-processing technology. The rated point fuel consumption and the minimum external fuel consumption are all lower than those of other brands. It is the most advanced in the country, and the emissions meet the requirements of GB17691-2005. The fourth-phase regulations require that after the reliability bench tests, vehicle road tests, and user use tests, it is confirmed that the machine is of high quality and the post-processing system is reliable and has good application prospects and promotion conditions. At this point, Xixi Group IV platform has been extended to the W, X, F, L, M, N six series, the power range of 130-500 hp.
