Beijing Transportation Commission Denies Rumor of Canceling Yaohao Policy Next Year

Recently, Weibo reported that Beijing will cancel the implementation of the shake policy for nearly a year before and after the Spring Festival next year. The microblogging said that Beijing's blocking method in 2012 will be changed to the “single and double number limit” method during the Olympic Games. However, the relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission told reporters that canceling the Yaohao message is purely a rumor, and that the Yaohao policy cannot be cancelled in the short term.

Dong Yang, secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that since the implementation of the Yaohao car purchase policy in Beijing, there have been a series of drawbacks, but it has also played a certain role in relieving traffic congestion.
