China Machinery 500 Release

In 2014, the “China Machinery 500” research report and the “World Machinery 500” were released in Beijing on the 6th. SAIC, FAW, and Dongfeng Automotive ranked in the top three of the “China Machinery 500”.

The report was jointly issued by China National Machinery Industry Enterprise Management Association, Machinery Industry Economic Management Research Institute and the World Managers Group. A total of 146 enterprises in the transportation equipment manufacturing industry entered the "China Machinery 500", 112 of which were automobile manufacturers, an increase of 10 over the previous year. SAIC, FAW, and Dongfeng Motors took the top three rankings in the “China Machinery 500” list.

Among the top 500 companies this year, there are 45 wire and cable, optical cable and electrical equipment manufacturing enterprises and 48 construction machinery manufacturing companies. In contrast, companies in the logistics equipment, packaging equipment, and environmental protection equipment industries accounted for a small percentage of the top 500.
