Excerpts from DailyHerald.com: A 911 call was made before noon on Wednesday at a business located at 37W507 Big Timber Road, just west of Randall Road. Firefighters arrived to find significant fire in the attic of the one-story building, which later spread to the main level. The fire was brought under control by 2:30 p.m., with assistance from twelve fire departments across the area. The cause of the fire has been determined to be electrical and accidental. The estimated damage is around $1.5 million. The 30-year-old, 9,000-square-foot structure was completely destroyed, along with a skid-steer loader and various construction tools. Employees were the first to notice sparks coming from both the inside and outside of the building and managed to shut off the power within 10 minutes, preventing a more severe disaster. Local residents and business owners are now trying to understand how such an incident could occur. While the cause has been identified as electrical, questions remain about the maintenance and safety protocols that may have led to the fire. Authorities are conducting further investigations to ensure no similar incidents happen again.
