Excerpts from DailyHerald.com: A 911 call was made just before noon on Wednesday to a business located at 37W507 Big Timber Road, west of Randall Road. Firefighters arrived and discovered significant fire in the attic of the single-story building, which later spread to the main level. The fire was brought under control by 2:30 p.m., with assistance from twelve fire departments across the area. The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical and accidental. The estimated damage is around $1.5 million. The 30-year-old structure, which spanned 9,000 square feet, was completely destroyed, along with a skid-steer loader and various construction tools. Employees were the first to notice sparks coming from both internal and external electrical wiring and managed to shut off the power within 10 minutes, preventing a more severe outcome. Local residents and officials are now assessing the full impact of the incident, while investigators continue to look into the exact cause of the electrical failure that led to the fire. The community has expressed concern over the loss of a long-standing local business, and support is being offered to those affected.
