+ SOCKET WELD FITTINGS

A Socket Weld is a pipe attachment detail in which a pipe is inserted into a recessed area of a valve, fitting or flange. Unlike butt-weld fittings, socket weld fittings are mainly used for small pipe diameters (Small Bore Piping), typically for piping with nominal diameter NPS 2 or smaller.

Fillet-type seal welds are used to join the pipe to valves, fittings, or other sections of pipe. Socket-welded joints are ideal when high leakage integrity and structural strength are critical design factors.
While fatigue resistance is lower compared to butt-welded construction due to fillet welds and abrupt geometry, it still outperforms most mechanical joining methods.
SW Fittings are a family of high-pressure fittings widely used in various industrial applications.

+THREADED FITTINGS

Threaded joints are one of the oldest methods of connecting piping systems. Like socket weld fittings, they are commonly used for small pipe diameters (Small Bore Piping), typically for pipes with nominal diameter NPS 2 or smaller.
