Crane Crane Removal and Assembly Precautions

The crane boom is the core component of the truck crane to perform the functions of transportation and loading and unloading. However, in some cases, it is necessary to disassemble or assemble the boom. It is necessary for us to know more about some of the precautions in this regard.

1. Carefully study the structure of the crane boom and determine the disassembly sequence and disassembly degree. Record the steps and items that will help the assembly when disassembling.

2. Don't use too much force and don't overdo it.

3. When decomposing, the site shall meet the following conditions:

a, there is enough space, good lighting.

b. Prevent wind and rain (especially avoid close to the washing room and water workshop)

c. Avoid places with narrow grounds or pedestrians, weak ground or sludge

d, to avoid noise or vibration, no iron or dust.

4. When the jib is suspended, it is required to maintain the level.

5. When using a wire sling to tie the boom, metal pads should be used. If no metal pad is used, the sling may be damaged or broken during use. When the wire sling is not in the middle, the boom will be difficult to move. It is easily damaged and the wire sling should be used in the middle position.

6. When inserting or removing each pin, it is not possible to strike directly with the hammer, but instead to use a metal pad (use softer than the pin or smaller than the diameter of the pin)

7, removal and installation of tools required include: overhead mobile crane two (5t or more), wire rope (greater than the wire rope, metal file, chain), table, wrench, heavy hammer (metal pad for the pin), Tappet connecting handle, oil barrel blind plug, special fixture, dismantling cab pole, hex wrench, wiper, molybdenum disulfide grease, support lifting cylinder.

8. Extend the legs and erect the crane. Rotate the boom to both sides of the crane and lower it to a horizontal position.

9. Take off the wire rope sleeves of the main and auxiliary winches and wind the steel wire ropes on the winch drum. Pay attention to placing the main winch hooks in a stable place, and temporarily fix the wire rope ends on the winch drum, and then start disassembling. And make a record.

10. The assembly sequence is the reverse of the disassembly. Refer to the disassembly record. When assembling, pay attention: Do not forget to install the side stoppers of the second and third telescopic cylinders.
