This copper wire recycling machine is designed for recycling scrap copper wires and cables such as automobile wires, communication cables, and other types of copper wires to recover valuable copper. Industrial Recycling Machines General Introduction
1. Wires and cables are fed into the crusher, where they are crushed and the plastic sheath is separated from the copper completely. The length of the crushed material depends on the mesh size of the sieve—larger mesh results in longer material and higher output. Mesh size should be selected based on the type of material during production.
2. The crushed material (a mix of copper granules and plastic pieces) is conveyed to the separator via a conveyor. During this process, dust and some lightweight plastic pieces (such as fiber, rope, or tapes mixed in the wires) are collected by the pressure-reducing blower. The opening of the blower is connected to the dust collector, which uses a dust collection bag to prevent dust emissions for environmental protection. Dust and some lightweight plastic pieces are collected in the bag and discharged when it is full.
3. The separator is used to separate plastic pieces from copper granules. Based on differences in physical properties and specific gravity between materials, there is a deviation in specific gravity due to aerodynamic and vibration friction forces. By adjusting the conveying speed and amplitude parameters, copper granules (with higher specific gravity) move to the bottom of the sieve and travel upward, while plastic pieces (with lower specific gravity) move to the top of the copper granules and travel downward. Eventually, both are discharged through different openings.
4. All units are installed on the underbed to form a complete structure. The machine is pre-adjusted for production before shipping, so customers only need to connect it to the power supply.
