1. Structure and Features:
The Tubular Centrifuge is a high-speed separator designed for efficient liquid clarification. It consists of a main body, driving unit, bowl, collecting pan, and liquid-in bearing seats. The upper part of the bowl features a flexible mainshaft, while the lower part includes a damp floating bearing. This design ensures smooth operation and stability. Power is transmitted from the motor through a belt and tensioner to the driven wheel, causing the bowl to rotate at high speed, creating a strong centrifugal force field. As the product enters the bowl from the bottom, the liquid flows upward along the inner wall and separates into layers based on density. In the GF model, the denser liquid forms an outer ring, while the lighter liquid forms an inner ring, both exiting through separate outlets. Solid particles settle on the bowl walls and are manually removed after shutdown.
2. Product Application:
This centrifuge is ideal for separating emulsions, especially in cases where there's a slight difference in gravity between liquids or when dealing with liquid-liquid-solid mixtures. It is commonly used in oil separation, extraction of plant liquids, plasma and cell separation, and milk cream processing.
