Because the turbine flowmeter is sensitive to the conditions on the site, the user should meet its ideal requirements under the condition of maximum satisfaction, so as to maintain the accuracy of the factory meter and obtain the ideal measurement data. When the temperature and pressure of the fluid medium differ greatly from the reference conditions, the volume change of the sensor housing can be calculated based on the material of the sensor and the temperature pressure, and the meter reading can be corrected. When the viscosity of the fluid medium under working conditions is different from that of the calibration fluid, the parameters of the viscosity correction curve provided on the installation and operating instructions should be corrected.
 
Turbine flowmeters have certain requirements on the lengths of the straight sections upstream and downstream during the measurement, and should be managed in accordance with the installation requirements, especially when the user requires high precision. The meter shows the volumetric flow under the working conditions of the media. To know the standard volume flow or mass flow, density compensation is also required.
 
The accuracy of the liquid turbine flowmeter is determined under reference conditions (or standard operating conditions). For turbine flowmeters, the reference conditions generally include: ambient conditions (ambient temperature 15°C to 35°C, relative humidity 45% ~75%, atmospheric pressure 86kPa, ~108kPa, no electric field, magnetic field interference, no vibration); power source conditions (220V±10% or 110V, 50HZ±1, or 24VDC); fluid conditions (when using fluid calibration, calibration The pipeline is an industrial circular pipe, a single-phase Newtonian fluid, fully developed, fully developed turbulent velocity axis-symmetrical distribution, no vortex, non-disturbance, steady flow.The calibration fluid is usually water, oil, air, according to the need. Upstream and downstream of the turbine flowmeter has a sufficiently long straight pipe section. The fluid temperature is generally room temperature, and the fluid pressure is generally below 0.25 MPa. Obviously, the actual working conditions of the turbine flowmeter are usually different from the reference conditions, which can cause changes in the accuracy of the turbine flowmeter.
 
The accuracy of the liquid turbine flow meter during use may be reduced due to the following reasons:
 
1. Fibrous or viscous impurities in the fluid are attached to the rotating part of the flowmeter, which increases the rotational resistance, causing the indicator value of the instrument to decrease, causing negative errors, and adversely affecting the fluid supplier.
 
2. The change of fluid temperature and pressure may cause the air contained in the pipeline to escape the air contained in the pipeline or because the pressure in the pipeline is lower than the saturation vapor pressure of the fluid, making part of the liquid into steam, or may be caused by the negative pressure of the medium. The gas is sucked into the pipeline. These gases flow along with the measured fluid, causing the indicator value of the instrument to increase, causing a positive error, which is detrimental to the demand of the fluid.
 
3, the media generally have some impurities, wear on the bearings, shafts, so that the gap between the two increases, the dynamic balance of the moving parts is destroyed, the speed is reduced, or dirt into the gap, so that increased resistance to movement , Speed ​​drops. All of these reasons cause the display value of the instrument to decrease, causing a negative error, which is detrimental to the fluid supplier.
 
4. The bad working environment will also have a great impact on the measurement results, such as electromagnetic field interference, dust, high temperature, vibration, and humidity, which may cause malfunction or failure of the turbine flow sensor, directly causing indication errors of the turbine flowmeter. Errors may be positive or negative, may be insignificant, or may completely fail. For the above phenomenon, when it is more serious, problems can be found in the comparison of process working status and it is easy to take corresponding measures. However, in the early stages of the problem, problems could not be discovered without special measures.
