Must comply with the "national V" standard for motor vehicle emissions.
In fact, as early as February 1, 2013, Beijing has begun to implement the “Beijing V” emission standard for lighter vehicles that is more stringent than the “National V”. The heavy-duty truck “Beijing V”, which should be synchronized with it, was postponed until last year. Implementation began on June 1. At the end of November last year, Beijing officially issued the draft of the sixth phase of the local standards for motor vehicle emissions, and it is clear that the “Beijing VI” standard will be implemented from December 1, 2017. The goal is to reduce the city’s motor vehicle emissions by 2022. 20%-30%.
At the same time, Tianjin also issued the “Circular of Implementing the Fifth Stage National Motor Vehicle Air Pollutant Emission Standards” in June last year, clarifying that the new light gasoline vehicle will implement the “National V” standard from September 1 Stop selling and registering heavy-duty diesel vehicles for public transport, sanitation and postal purposes that do not meet the “National V” standard.
As the focus of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei air pollution control, the joint prevention and control of motor vehicle emission areas has been widely called. However, as of now, Hebei Province is still basically using the “National IV” emission standard, which has become a short-board for the coordinated development of transportation in the three places. Some insiders said that with the release of the latest policy, the gap between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei inter-regional emission standards will be significantly narrowed, which will further promote the integrated management of air pollution.
