Aeolos succeeded in developing tires for special engineering machinery
At the end of May 2006, Fengshen successfully developed the 26.5-25-40PR (L-3/G-32) SUPER CARRIER SERVICE tire specifically for construction machinery. This new product expanded the company's range of customized tires designed for heavy-duty applications. The tire is compatible with a standard rim size of 22.00/3.0. When inflated, its section width measures 675mm with a tolerance of ±3.5%, and the outer diameter reaches 1750mm with a tolerance of ±1.5%. Under conditions of 10 km/h speed and 700 kPa pressure, the tire can carry a load of 19,600 kg.
This specialized tire is used on 900-ton flat-plate flatbed trucks, primarily for bridge construction in high-speed railway and highway projects. It is engineered to handle extreme loads, maintain a low ground pressure ratio, and provide strong torque performance. The tire features high-strength nylon-66 dipped cord fabric as its reinforcement material, combined with a multi-wheel structure that ensures a durable and robust carcass. The reinforced bead design helps resist deformation under heavy torque, especially during steering operations.
To enhance performance, the tire has a wider tread surface and a reduced groove ratio, which increases the contact area with the ground and reduces the overall ground pressure. This design significantly minimizes the stress on roadbeds and bridges when the vehicle is under heavy load. Additionally, the tread compound is formulated with advanced engineering rubber that offers exceptional resistance to cuts, abrasion, and punctures, ensuring a longer service life even in the harshest environments.
With these innovations, Fengshen has set a new benchmark in the development of heavy-duty construction tires, meeting the demanding requirements of modern infrastructure projects.
