The NP1-P4 well in the Qiandongnanpu oilfield is an oriented horizontal well. The well is the longest well in the national level crossing the oil layer after the two wells of NP1-P1 and NP1-P2 have successively obtained high yield. According to the actual data of the oil well, the leaders and relevant departments of Jidong Oilfield decided to adjust the pump type of the submersible oil pump from 800 square meters/1500 meters to 1000 square meters/2000 meters, and required Zhongcheng Machinery Manufacturing Company to complete the submersible oil within 15 days. After receiving the urgent task, the company designed the matching plan of the unit in the shortest time. In order to achieve high quality of the unit, technical seminars were organized to solve technical problems. Technical personnel conducted on-site technical guidance to ensure the reliable implementation of the program. On April 15, the electric pump unit was successfully delivered to the well site.
On the evening of April 18, the instantaneous wind power reached level 7 or above. The technical service personnel of Zhongcheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. arrived at the well site 3 hours ahead of schedule to make a final inspection of the electric pump unit. Wind, poor visibility and cold weather are a big environmental test for field service personnel. In order to ensure the success of the downhole, the on-site service personnel carefully placed the motor, protector, separator and centrifugal pump into the well in accordance with the process requirements. After 10 hours of continuous fighting overnight, the next day at 9:20 am the pump unit was installed. At 11:40 pm on the evening of the 19th, the production conditions were met and the trial was put into production successfully.
