Titanium sand ore dressing plant - Beihai Plant

Beihai Plant is located in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The plant is China's largest coastal sand mine selection plant, the original design capacity of 60 tons of titanium concentrate per day. The mine equipment and technology more perfect, in addition to the main production capacity - titanium iron ore, the better comprehensive recovery capabilities, comprehensive recovery of by-products currently available are: zircon, rutile, monazite and a small amount of cassiterite, gold Wait. Due to the high grade of coarse concentrates processed by Beihai Concentrator and the high content of pure mineral TiO 2 , combined with the perfect process equipment and good management, the technical indicators occupy the primacy in the national coastal sand mine selection plant.

The Beihai Concentrator has no mining and selection plants, and all the coarse concentrates used come from the acquisition of products. The acquisition of mines comes from counties in the Qinzhou area. The acquisition of two types of minerals, one is coastal sand mineral products (chengshui mine), and the other is inland sand mineral products (fresh water mines). The seashore sand ore coarse concentrate mainly contains titanium minerals as pseudo-rutile (Fe 2 O 3 ·3TiO 2 , ie, perovskite), the pure mineral TiO 2 content is 50%-60%; the inland sand ore is mainly ilmenite. Titanium-containing minerals in addition to the main outer, both associated minerals similar, namely: zircon, monazite, xenotime, rutile, anatase, leucoxene and trace cassiterite, gold and the like.

The coarse ore concentrate produced by the local method is washed by triangular trough, and the grade of coarse concentrate is TiO 2 >48%. The quality of the crude concentrate at the main acquisition point is shown in the following table.

Beihai Concentrator uses electro-election and magnetic separation to recover ilmenite first. The selected recovery rate can reach 95%-96%, and then comprehensive recovery of associated minerals by electro-election, magnetic separation, re-election, flotation, and amalgamation . After selection, the grade of seashore sand ore concentrate can reach 57% to 58% of TiO 2 , and the grade of inland sand ore concentrate is 52% to 53% of TiO 2 . The selected process flow of Beihai Concentrator is shown in Figure 1.
