Haikou City to invest 3.23 billion yuan to build a drainage pumping station project

The reporter learned from the report meeting on the recommendations, criticisms and opinions of the Sixth Session of the 14th National People's Congress of Haikou City on the 2nd that Haikou City will invest 3.23 billion yuan to build a rainwater pipe network laying project and a drainage pumping station project to achieve the main urban area. Rainwater pipe network coverage is above 95%.

According to reports, the relevant person in charge of the Water Affairs Bureau of Haikou City expressed at the meeting on October 27th that during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Haikou will invest 3.23 billion yuan to solve the problem of urban drainage and drainage in Haikou. Among them, plans will be made to build a drainage pump station. With 15 seats, the drainage flow is 145.5 cubic meters per second, and the discharge capacity of township flood discharge trenches is once in 10 to 20 years. The six major flood prevention and reduction projects during the 12th Five-Year Plan period include:

I. Dangerous reservoir reinforcement project, planning objectives: to complete the reinforcement of all dangerous reservoirs (including the management of housing construction), restore the original design standards, the corresponding irrigation area to reach the design of irrigation scale. Plans to invest 96.4 million yuan; to complete the task of reinforcement of 83 small reservoirs.

II. Key Flood Control (Flood) Embankment Projects, Planning Objectives: Complete the construction of major river embankments and seawall projects, basically complete the design standards for flood control (tide) engineering systems, and improve flood and water disaster prevention capabilities. The planned investment is 2.17 billion yuan.

III. River Regulation Project, Planning Objectives: To rehabilitate 9 rivers according to the flood prevention standard of 20 years, with an investment of 540 million yuan. Mainly include: to improve urban flood control and drainage capacity, reduce flood risk and damage.

4. Flood prevention building projects, planning and construction of 83 comprehensive flood control buildings with an area of ​​5,8711.2 square meters. After the completion of the project, the maximum number of disaster victims can be 46,319, providing better disaster protection for township residents. The flood prevention building is distributed in four districts: 30 in Xiuying District; 18 in Longhua District; 8 in Qiongshan District; and 27 in Meilan District.

Fifth, safety protection projects, plans to invest 35.15 million yuan. Planning Objective: To construct multiple types of protective works (hard protective walls, low shrub walls, etc.) for waterfront areas with major protection and multiple accidents.

6. Non-engineering measures include the completion of the city's flood prevention, wind prevention and drought prevention command system as soon as possible; further strengthening the daily management of flood control and disaster reduction engineering measures, strengthening the construction of disaster relief material reserve systems, strengthening the construction of disaster relief guarantee systems, and strengthening water information construction. Plans to invest 10.2 million yuan.
