Xinhuanet Beijing September 6 (Reporter Jiang Junji) "China Automotive Technology Development Report 2016" release and seminar" was held in Beijing on September 5. The research pointed out that the future development of automotive industry technology presents three major trends: low carbonization, informationization and intelligence.

In terms of new energy vehicles, it is estimated that by 2020, the production and sales of independent intellectual property rights new energy vehicles will reach 1 million units, and the market share will reach over 70%. In 2025, the sales of independent intellectual property rights new energy vehicles will reach 3 million units, and the market share will reach 80%. The development of intelligent networked vehicles will reach 50% of the market share of domestically produced automotive information products with intellectual property rights. In 2025, the above market share will increase to 60%. In 2030, China's traffic efficiency will increase by 80%. Traffic accidents and Traffic accident deaths are reduced by 80% and 90%, respectively, and carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 20%.
According to the survey, the following breakthroughs will be made in the automotive technology in 2016-2017: in the aspect of energy-saving vehicles, the automatic transmission products of colleges and universities based on the independent technology platform will enter the scale industrialization, and the small displacement turbocharged direct injection engine with independent intellectual property rights Batch-type crash, low-cost hybrid system developed and applied successfully on multiple models, electronic control common rail diesel injection system manufacturing technology and key equipment development and application. New energy vehicles, ternary lithium battery cells energy density will exceed 240Wh / kg, electric drive system multiplication technology is expected to make a breakthrough, a group of A-class pure electric passenger cars continue to drive mileage of more than 250km. In the development of intelligent networked vehicles, the intelligent environment-aware technology for autonomous driving is expected to break through. The LTE-V technology based on independent innovation will realize industrialization, and the construction of intelligent network-connected automobile basic data interactive platform will be launched soon.
In addition, the report also evaluated the technical capabilities of power battery companies from both quantitative and qualitative aspects, and built a “comprehensive index of technical capabilities of power battery companies”, with emphasis on R&D resources, R&D capabilities, manufacturing capabilities and R&D performance. In the aspect of detailed benchmarking analysis, among the 12 power battery companies evaluated, BYD ranked first in the power battery enterprise technical capability comprehensive index with a score of 5.06.
