On April 5th, the China-Belarus Industrial Park in Minsk, Belarus, the mobilization meeting for the construction of the new Maz Weichai factory was held.
Weichai and Maz said that with the strong support of the Chinese and Belarusian governments, the two sides will cooperate sincerely to promote the project to be put into production as soon as possible.
The Mazhaichai cooperation project is one of the key projects of China-Belarus economic and trade cooperation. On September 29, 2016, under the witness of General Secretary Xi Jinping, Weichai and Belarus Maz Company signed a memorandum in Beijing. On September 13, 2017, the joint venture company was formally established.
The joint venture factory officially started construction, marking that under the guidance of the “Belt and Road Initiativeâ€, Weichai has made new contributions to the “Made in Chinaâ€.
