METAL 3D Printing - SLM / DMLS
The two technologies have many similarities: both use laser scanning and selectively fuse (or melt) metal powder particles, glue them together and build them layer by layer. Similarly, the materials used in both processes are granular metals.
The difference between SLM and DMLS is due to the basis (and patents) of the particle bonding process: SLM uses metal powder with a single melting temperature and completely melts the particles, while in DMLS, the powder is composed of materials with variable melting points at high temperatures Fusion at the molecular level.
Bering 3D provides 3D printing services for various metal materials such as stainless steel, die steel, titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, and bronze.
House fire in Frankfort 6-6-13
This message comes from Dylan Konchan:

As I was driving through Frankfort earlier today, I happened to come across an active fire situation. It was at a one-story house located at 1011 Prestwick Dr. Initially, when Truck 72 arrived on the scene, there didn’t seem to be any visible signs of fire. However, once they went inside, they noticed smoke filling the house. Shortly after, the crew from Truck 72 discovered flames and promptly called it a working fire. Chief 72 then put out a request for a change of quarters, specifically Box #721. This brought additional support from neighboring stations—New Lenox Engine was dispatched to Station 1, Orland Engine headed to Station 2, University Park Engine went to Station 4, and Homer Truck moved to Station 5.
The firefighting efforts continued for about 35 minutes until the fire was successfully extinguished. It’s always reassuring to see how quickly emergency services can mobilize and handle situations like this.
Below are some photos I took during the incident. They really capture the intensity of the moment and the dedication of those involved.
