Chicago FD treats multiple patients during Stanley Cup celebration

It seems that out of the two million people who attended the Blackhawks celebration, the Chicago Fire Department had their hands full dealing with medical emergencies. According to CFD Media Affairs, they treated 41 patients, most of whom experienced heat-related issues along or close to the parade route.
The situation was intense as the medical bus, numbered 8-8-12, was positioned at Michigan and Adams, while fire engines were spread out along Michigan Avenue and Congress Plaza. The paramedics were quite resourceful, using bicycles and UTVs to navigate through the crowd quickly. It’s impressive how they managed to keep things under control despite the massive turnout.
