Still and Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 2-8-20

This report comes from Eric Haak:

A still and box alarm was dispatched to 4208 South Wells Street in Chicago on Saturday morning at 5:45 AM. Engine Company 16 was the first on scene and reported a 1.5-story frame structure measuring 20 by 50 feet with fire visible through the roof. Engines 16 and 29 quickly deployed their deck guns, effectively reducing the main fire within minutes. A few hand lines were then used to finish the job and ensure the fire was fully under control.

There was some minor flame exposure on the "B" side of the building, with visible flames along the eaves, but this was quickly extinguished before it could spread further. The response was efficient, and the situation remained under control throughout the operation.
